The LLSC

Our strategy to achieve the mission is based on three areas of focus: research, patient support and advocacy.
The mission of the LLSC (Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada) is that we will not stop until a cure for leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma, myelodysplastic syndromes and myeloproliferative neoplasms and are able to improve the quality of life of people affected by blood cancers and their families by funding life-enhancing research and providing educational resources, services and support. Whenever we talk about cancer, we always use the same word. Someday. Someday there will be a cure. Someday we won’t lose the people we love. But when is someday? With LLSC’s research partnerships and patient support services and advocates working for a blood cancer patients everywhere, someday is today. Everyday since 1955, LLSC has been on the forefront of blood cancer advances such as chemotherapies and stem cell transplants, leading the way to the targeted therapies and immunotherapies that are saving thousands of lives today. We have been inching our way closer to finding cures for all 137 types of blood cancers. With your generosity and support, we will get there sooner rather than later. If you are unable to make it to the tournament, but would still like to contribute to us as a sponsor, we have a donation page at the link below. http://secure.llscanada.org/goto/2022CalgaryALCGolf
